This year’s WEE BOX country focus is Ethiopia and in particular, Borana in the south.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Huka and Tsegaye to Scotland over Lent and they spent some time in schools talking about their work and thanking schools for their generous contributions to SCIAF.

They visited St Patrick’s primary in Anderston, Holy Family primary in Bellshill, St Joseph’s Academy in Kilmarnock and St Ninian’s High in Giffnock.

Tsegaye and Huka commented on the warm welcome they received in all schools and loved all the questions they were asked and said it was wonderful to see how schools in Scotland were connecting with their work on the ground in Ethiopia.

A huge thank you to all schools praying for SCIAF’s work and for raising funds that will change lives.

Remember that all donations that are received by the 4th of May with a completed consent form, will be doubled by the UK government!
