St Francis Xavier's Primary in Falkirk, like many other schools during Lent, chose to support SCIAF's WEE BOX appeal.

I was delighted to go back to the school at the end of Lent to collect a cheque for a staggering £5680.43!

The school were fortunate to have a visit earlier in Lent from some of our project partners in Colombia and I'm sure this inspired them on their way to raise this huge amount of money.

The school held a coffee morning, sponsored events and used WEE BOXES in their classrooms. A lot of work goes into making sure that the whole school are invovled and a massive thanks has to go to the school staff, parents and children.

The school also took time to learn about Colombia and research what life is like for the Embera people using the SCIAF Lent resource.

Well done St Francis Xavier's Primary!!!
