St Cadoc's primary school in Newton Mearns have been using a variety of activities from the WEE BOX schools resource throughout Lent to show their solidarity with the women of Africa.

They’ve been busy with a SCIAF fun day (main photo), disco, aerobics and weekly WEE BOX collections but they importantly, have made time to pray for the women of Africa too. They used the ‘post-it’ prayer activity (see below) from the SCIAF prayer resources.

The pupils also enjoyed a traditional Malawian game called ‘Diga Diga’ in the playground (see below).

The pastoral committee have presented at assemblies and have been working so hard to encourage everyone in their Lenten fundraising.

Thank you St Cadoc’s, we are really proud of you!
