Pupils at St Joseph’s Primary in Greenock were very busy builders this year – as they created a fantastic display in their school to show how much money they had raised for SCIAF. During Lent the school focused on finding out about SCIAF’s work in Haiti, which was left devastated by an earthquake in 2010.

Pupils were asked to pay for a brick (which they could colour in or draw a picture on) to help ‘build’ a house display, and when they had bought five bricks they could add a tile on to the roof of the house. Every class in the school got involved in this fantastic fundraising project and managed to raise £300 to support SCIAF’s work around the world.

Well done and thanks to everyone at St Joseph’s!!
